MIX + EXPORT / TONKRO 1.0 GUIDE / 13 SEPTEMBER 2026
Let the little racket out.
Balance your tracks, listen back, and share the result.
Make room for every part
Start with track levels, mute, solo, and pan. Bring the loudest track down rather than pushing every other track up. Check the master output and listen at a comfortable volume.
The master path includes EQ and Drive/compression. Compare small changes against the original sound. M1 and M2 let you recall and move between captured settings; hear the transition before committing it.
Export a loop
- Set the loop boundaries around the section you want to share.
- Play the entire loop. Check mutes, solos, track levels, and the tail at the loop boundary.
- Use the Mix stereo-loop export and wait for the render to finish.
- Save or share the resulting audio through the system share sheet. Play the exported file outside Tonkro to confirm it contains the intended performance.
- Export a project bundle separately if you want an editable backup.
Audio, notes, or a whole project?
An audio bounce captures the sound. MIDI export carries note events for use in another instrument; it does not contain Tonkro’s audio or guarantee the same timbre elsewhere. A project bundle carries editable Tonkro state and media.
The preview includes CAF audio exports. Check whether your destination app accepts the file format before relying on it for a delivery. Keep the original export if you make a converted copy.
DJ Monster: a useful distinction
With Key Lock off, deck varispeed changes tempo and pitch together. With Key Lock on, tempo changes preserve pitch while momentary platter bending remains responsive. Confirm each deck's beat grid before using Sync. Independent headphone cue requires a verified four-output audio interface.
